Few people are introduced to their family’s profession at an early age. Even fewer grow up to make that profession their life’s work. Susan Brewer is one of those rare individuals.
Growing up in her family’s office equipment business, Susan learned the value of hard work, industry expertise, and putting customers first. What began in an era of typewriters, ribbons, and calculators evolved into a lifelong commitment to helping organizations find the right technology solutions to support their operations.
In 1984, Susan founded SupplyMaster with a simple philosophy: provide exceptional service, build lasting relationships, and always do what is in the customer’s best interest. More than four decades later, those same principles continue to guide the company.
Today, SupplyMaster serves K-12 school districts, government agencies, and public sector organizations throughout California and beyond. As an authorized partner of industry-leading manufacturers including HP and Brother, SupplyMaster provides printers, multifunction devices, scanners, testing and classroom headsets, office technology, and a wide range of workplace and educational products. Through an extensive nationwide distribution network, customers benefit from reliable product availability, competitive pricing, and fast delivery.
In 2005, Susan’s husband Doug Brewer joined the company full-time after a successful career as a financial executive and Chief Financial Officer across multiple industries. Together, Susan and Doug have continued to grow SupplyMaster while maintaining the personalized service and responsiveness that only a family-owned business can provide.
Today, SupplyMaster remains proudly family-owned and woman-owned. While technology continues to evolve, the company's commitment remains unchanged: delivering trusted solutions, exceptional customer service, and long-term partnerships that help customers succeed.
